I enjoy making music and thinking about music. This blog is where I share some of my thoughts on these matters.

I am a freelance tenor trombone player living and working in New York City. You can hear me in orchestras, jazz bands, pop bands and more. MORE! I have been playing for more than thirty five years. Thirty five years! I was principal trombone with the Astoria Symphony Orchestra for fifteen seasons. With the Astoria Symphony, I premiered Panayoti Karousos’s Trombone Concerto The Spirit of Liberty in 2006.

My claim to fame is having toured all around the U.S. and other parts of the known world with The Monkees. That’s right, Davy, Micky and Peter! It was a great ride while it lasted and I remember them fondly! I learned so much about entertaining from those super stars.

Oh, I also lead a ceremonial brass quintet since 2009, The Coronation Brass. Rates upon request.

Did I mention, I also contract musicians -from quintets to full orchestras! Rates upon request.

And… I’m a Leo.

Proud father of three boys and a little girl (she would say big girl, but I digress…)! Husband of one amazing actress.
